The Council of Ministers, by Resolution No. 124 of March 17, has ordered an increase in spending by the Ministry of Culture by 3.86 million rubles for “other issues in the field of culture.” These funds will be used to purchase equipment, furniture, and inventory not requiring installation for the project “Construction of the National History Museum of Belarus in the area of Arlouskaya Street in Minsk.”
The resolution was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal. The additional funds for the museum’s furniture will also be drawn from resources allocated to the Ministry of Culture for culture and the arts.
