Yesterday, the head of the “Free Choir”, Halina Kazimirouskaya, appealed for help due to a serious illness — the musician has been diagnosed with cancer. Already today, Belarusians have raised the required amount on BYSOL.
Kazimirouskaya is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy, with surgery and radiotherapy ahead.
The illness has deprived her of the ability to teach. The family, which has two minor children, has no means to pay for rent and food.
The toxicity of chemotherapy requires expensive medication to support the liver and other organs, as well as strong painkillers.
“Each course of chemotherapy is an exhausting battle. Each recovery takes several days, and just as you begin to regain strength, a new dose of powerful drugs leaves you drained again”.
Kazimirouskaya needed €8,500 to cover six months of rent, food and medication. So far, €9,665 has been raised.
