Customs officers found four cartridges on a German citizen who was entering Belarus from Lithuania through the Kamenny Loh border checkpoint.
According to the State Committee of Forensic Examinations, the cartridges were sent for expert analysis.
During the examination, forensic experts established that the cartridges had been factory-made and were hunting cartridges with expanding bullets of the .300 Winchester Magnum (7.62×67, .300 Win. Mag.) calibre — ammunition for 7.62 mm manually operated rifled firearms, the committee said.
It was noted that the cartridges were suitable for firing.
The further fate of the German citizen was not disclosed.
