A farewell is being held in Lviv today for Belarusian volunteer Aliaksei Lazarau, who was killed on January 19 while carrying out a combat mission. As his wife, Veranika Yanovich, reported, the ceremony began at 11:00 on January 31 at the Garrison Church of Saints Peter and Paul. After that, a citywide farewell ceremony will take place at Rynok Square.
Transportation will be organized to Plot 87 of the Field of Honorary Burials on Pasechna Street. The family has asked mourners not to bring artificial flowers.
