Facebook Page of iSANS Executive Director Designated “Extremist” in Belarus

Belarus’s Ministry of Information has once again updated the Republican List of Extremist Materials. The Facebook account of iSANS Executive Director Ulad Kobets has been added to the list. The corresponding decision was issued by the Leninsky District Court of Brest on October 26.

The list also includes:

• The website and Telegram channel of the Belarusian Liberation Army;
• The “Бусел Чат” Telegram group;
• Threads pages: “Берасцейская Вясна” (“brest.viasna”), “Eugenia Mayday”, “yauheni_dudkin” and “Alix Sarana”;
• Facebook pages: “dudkinyauheni” (Yauhen Dudkin), “Vayary”, “Мiкiта Слепянок”, “Aliaksandr Partyka”, “Bulba HaЎse”, “Enrique de Salvaje” and “Jula Daraskievitc”;
• The “yauheni_dudkin” Instagram page;
• The TikTok accounts “«Что за день?!» and “ЖывеБеларусь”.

As a reminder, accusations of extremism are used in Belarus to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and suppress dissent more broadly.
