Tsikhanouskaya on Strike on Dnipro: Putin and His Supporters Must Face Consequences for Every Attack

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has called for tougher sanctions against Russia and the provision of the air defence systems Ukraine needs. The politician made the statement in response to a Russian strike on a railway station in Dnipro on October 29.

“Russia’s terror killed at least 13 civilians at the railway station in Dnipro today. My heart is with the victims and their families. Putin and his enablers must face consequences for every attack. Tighten sanctions and give Ukraine the air defences it needs to protect its people,” the leader of Belarus’s democratic forces wrote on X.

As a reminder, on October 29, a jet-powered drone struck a platform where a Dnipro–Zaporizhzhia train was standing. Thirteen people were killed and 14 injured, with six in serious condition.
