Export Duties on Liquefied Hydrocarbon Gases Reduced in Belarus

Belarus is reducing export duties on hydrocarbon gases. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn.

The duty on liquefied hydrocarbon gases has been reduced from $131.6 to $130.2 per tonne, while the rates for ethane, butane and isobutane have been lowered from $118.4 to $117.1 per tonne.

The resolution enters into force following its official publication and applies retroactively to legal relations arising from June 1, 2026.

In May, the government announced a several-fold increase in export duties effective from June 1. The resolution adopted today slightly reduces those duties.
