Officers from the economic crime units of the Mahilyow region have identified a case of tax evasion involving an individual entrepreneur in the regional center.
According to the Interior Ministry, the 24-year-old businessman used unregistered cash register equipment in retail trade and entered knowingly false information into tax declarations.
As a result of the scheme, the young man underpaid nearly 210,000 rubles to the state budget.
A criminal case has been opened on charges of large-scale tax evasion.
