This week, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting planned drills timed to World Civil Defence Day.
The drills include:
- activation of public warning systems;
- checks of the readiness of protective facilities;
- practical exercises in distributing personal protective equipment to the public;
- training on rules of conduct during emergencies and upon receiving civil defence warning signals;
- training in first aid skills.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the purpose of the drills is to improve overall preparedness and safety in the event of emergencies.
