Lukashenka’s Visit to Moscow Announced

The press service of Alyaksandr Lukashenka has announced his upcoming visit to Moscow. A meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State will take place in the Russian capital on February 26.

According to the statement, the agenda includes the Basic Guidelines for the Implementation of the Provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State for 2024–2026, as well as discussion of the development of a draft similar document for 2027–2029.

Other items on the agenda include:

• the organisation of cross-border suburban passenger transport;
• the establishment of a Committee on Standardisation and Quality of the Union State;
• mutual support in cooperation in the field of international justice;
• the awarding of Union State prizes in literature and the arts for 2025–2026.
