Emergency Situations Ministry Conducts Planned Drills Nationwide

This week, the Ministry of Emergency Situations is conducting planned drills timed to World Civil Defence Day.

The drills include:

activation of public warning systems;
checks of the readiness of protective facilities;
practical exercises in distributing personal protective equipment to the public;
training on rules of conduct during emergencies and upon receiving civil defence warning signals;
training in first aid skills.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said the purpose of the drills is to improve overall preparedness and safety in the event of emergencies.
