Rope Jumper Seriously Injured After Falling From Height

A 40-year-old man sustained serious injuries while making a secured jump from a height in Minsk. He was taken to hospital, the Investigative Committee reports.

According to preliminary information, a 36-year-old individual entrepreneur who provides extreme jumping services (rope jumping) was preparing the site to receive clients.

His 40-year-old acquaintance was helping him install and adjust the equipment. The man decided to make a jump himself and attached the safety equipment on his own. Due to improperly secured knots, he fell to the ground and sustained multiple injuries.

The injured man was hospitalised in serious condition.

The Zavadski District Department of the Investigative Committee is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
