On March 18, 316 fires in natural ecosystems were recorded in Belarus within a single day. In 296 cases, grass and shrubs were burning. There were also 19 forest fires and one peat fire, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
As a result of these fires, one residential house and four outbuildings were destroyed. Several other structures sustained damage.
