A smuggling drone flew into Lithuania on the night from Saturday to Sunday.
Lithuanian border guards spotted the drone in the Šalčininkai district and forced it to land. A package containing 1,000 cigarettes manufactured by the Neman tobacco factory was attached to the homemade drone, the Lithuanian Border Guard Service reports.
The cigarettes are valued at €5,510. The drone and cigarettes were left at the border post. Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
