Direct Flight To Link Minsk And Petrozavodsk In May 2026

A direct flight between Minsk and Petrozavodsk will be launched in May 2026, the head of Russia’s Republic of Karelia, Artur Parfyonchikov, announced.

Flights will be operated once a week by the airline Severstal Air Company. No further details about the route have been provided.

“Belarus is very popular among the residents of Karelia — many enjoy spending their vacations there or visiting relatives. We received numerous requests for flights to Minsk. I am very glad we managed to resolve this issue,” Parfyonchikov said.

Severstal Air Company operates Cherepovets Airport and provides regular domestic and international passenger flights, as well as charter services across Russia, the CIS, and Europe.

The airline’s main shareholder is the metallurgical company Severstal PJSC. Its fleet includes Sukhoi Superjet 100 and Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft.
