Dim Lighting, Chaotic Signs And Outdated Interiors: MART Assesses Public Service Centers

As the ministry’s press service reported, violations of the law were found at 40% of them.
The most common violations were the absence of information about service completion times and the service provider’s telephone number, as well as a copy of the certificate confirming inclusion in the state information resource, the “Register of Household Services of the Republic of Belarus.”
Following the monitoring, the entities were issued recommendations to eliminate the violations. In addition, MART specialists issued two orders banning the storage of goods past their expiration dates. The products included nail polish and a product for removing salt stains.
The ministry also drew attention to the “outdated appearance” of some public service centers.
“Upon entering, consumers often encounter dim lighting, chaotic signs and cramped outlets whose interiors have not been changed for decades. In an era when consumers have become accustomed to a high level of service, digitalization and aesthetically pleasing spaces, this format requires visual changes,” MART said.
