Composition of Election Commission for Coordination Council Elections Approved

At a meeting on January 28, the Coordination Council approved the composition of the Election Commission for the Coordination Council elections.

A total of 44 delegates took part in the vote, with 42 supporting the decision and two abstaining.

The Election Commission includes:

• Dzmitry Furmanau, nominated by the Moladzevy Nastup faction;
• Alena Zhylachkina (Zhyvahlod), nominated by the Honest People organization;
• Yaraslau Bekish, nominated by the Belarusians faction;
• Piotr Markelau, nominated by the Legalize Belarus initiative;
• Alena Prykhodzka, nominated by the Belarusians faction.

Elections to the third convocation of the Coordination Council will be held from May 11 to May 17, 2026.
