Border guards at Minsk airport detained a foreign national who attempted to use a forged document.
The man was undergoing check-in procedures for a Minsk–Tbilisi flight. He presented a passport of an Armenian citizen. However, the document raised suspicions among border guards. It was established that the passport had been partially forged — the page containing personal identification data had been replaced.
During the investigation, it was established that the foreign national is wanted through interstate channels. He was placed in a temporary detention facility. Administrative proceedings have been initiated.
