BELPOL: Ukrainian RK-3 Korsar Missiles Stored at Belarus KGB Group “A” Base

The initiative of former Belarusian security officials, BELPOL, has published an investigation into the armaments used by the Belarus KGB special unit Group A, also known as Alpha. Among other weapons, the unit reportedly possesses Ukrainian-made RK-3 Korsar systems, which were never officially supplied to Belarus.

The investigation includes photographs of a transport-and-launch container for the portable anti-tank guided missile system Korsar, produced in Ukraine. The photo was taken on the territory of the Group A base in November 2022.

According to the markings, the container holds an RK-3OF missile equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead and an explosively formed penetrator, BELPOL said.

The authors of the investigation suggested that Alpha fighters may have obtained the Ukrainian anti-tank system as a result of participation in combat operations against the Ukrainian army. No evidence to support this version is provided.

“At present, BELPOL, together with the relevant competent authorities, is engaged in searching for an answer to this question,” the investigation said.

The RK-3 Korsar is a Ukrainian portable anti-tank guided missile system developed by the Kyiv-based State Kyiv Design Bureau Luch. In August 2017, the Korsar system was officially adopted by the Ukrainian army and began entering service.

Earlier, Reform.news reported that Belarus’s Interior Ministry internal troops in 2024 demonstrated an armored vehicle in one of the photographs from a regular exercise. Ukrainian military personnel identified it as a Kozak-5, which had not previously been supplied to Belarus.
