Early this morning, Belavia operated its first flight from Minsk to Mattala Airport in Sri Lanka using an Airbus A330 aircraft. The flight time was 9 hours and 20 minutes.
Flights will operate once a week. This is the airline’s third long-haul route launched following the acquisition of Airbus A330 aircraft. Previously, the company began flights to Sanya in China and Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam.
Belavia also plans to launch charter flights to Thailand in January next year. The flight program to Pattaya is scheduled to begin on January 8, and to Phuket on January 11.
