The Interior Ministry has added another 37 people to the “List of Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, Foreign Citizens or Stateless Persons Involved in Extremist Activity.”
Among those added to the list was Belaruskicry production director Yahor Buzhylau. In March 2026, a court sentenced him to four years of restricted freedom under the article on participation in an “extremist formation.”
The list now contains 6,505 names.
Belaruskicry is a Belarusian jewelry brand. Its best-known product is a pendant shaped like the outline of Belarus with a teardrop-shaped stone. In July 2025, the KGB designated Belaruskicry an “extremist formation”. The brand’s activities in Belarus were banned.
Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism-related charges to target political opponents and dissent more broadly.
