Belarusian volunteer Aliaksandr Krasouski (“Gerard”), who was detained in Ukraine in March, has been released from custody without being formally charged, according to blogger Siarhei Biaspalau.
“Today, Aliaksandr ‘Gerard’ Krasouski was released from custody! Let me remind you that he was detained on March 14, 2026. Today he was released on bail, while no formal charges have been brought against him,” Biaspalau wrote on social media.
Krasouski was detained in March this year. According to volunteer Dzianis Urbanovich, the arrest was allegedly linked to corruption schemes.
Gerard served in the Kalinouski Regiment and later in the Tur unit of the 225th Separate Assault Battalion.
