The State Control Committee uncovered a case of fictitious outsourcing. A state-owned energy company brought in outside workers, but they did not actually appear at the sites.

According to the State Control Committee, employees of a private company were supposed to carry out construction work at energy system facilities.

“However, in many cases, the workers did not actually appear at the sites. At the same time, the head of the private company that provided these workers under outsourcing contracts included false information about the hours they had worked in service reports. As a result, the state-owned enterprise unjustifiably paid more than 200,000 rubles”, the State Control Committee said.

Inspectors interviewed the workers. It turned out that they had not even visited the cities where the sites were located. In some cases, the same worker could appear in service reports for the same period at different sites and in different cities.

A criminal case has been opened against the owner of the private company. The unjustifiably received funds have been returned to the state-owned enterprise.
