Belarusian military officials are once again visiting Myanmar. According to the Department of International Military Cooperation, Deputy Defence Minister for Logistics Andrei Burdyka, a major general, has arrived in the Asian country.
“This is a logical continuation of the talks held in Minsk. The logistics support system, personnel training, economic issues and resource provision are far from a complete list of the topics under discussion,” the department said.
In Naypyidaw, Burdyka held a meeting with Myanmar Armed Forces Quartermaster General Lieutenant General Zaw Myo Tin. The meeting focused on cooperation in military logistics support, as well as economic projects.
The Belarusian delegation also visited one of Myanmar’s specialised military educational institutions.
