The Belarusian government business jet with registration number EW-301PJ has arrived in Turkey again. This time, it departed Minsk for Kazan, then several days later flew to Dalaman in southwestern Turkey and an hour later continued to Bodrum.
The journey began on Aug. 16, when the aircraft flew from Minsk to the Russian city of Kazan. It remained there for five days and departed for Turkey today, Aug. 21.
According to flightradar24.com data, the aircraft landed at Dalaman Airport at 2:33 a.m. UTC, stayed there for about an hour and then flew to neighboring Bodrum. It arrived there at 3:56 a.m. UTC.
Dalaman is located in Muğla province in southwestern Turkey. The area is commonly known as Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. It is part of the historic region of Lycia.
Over the past several months, the Belarusian government aircraft has repeatedly flown the Minsk-Bodrum route.
The aircraft is known to be used not only by senior Belarusian officials for business trips, but also by members of Lukashenka’s family for private travel. It is unknown who has traveled to the upscale Turkish resorts this time.
