The Council of Ministers has ordered the allocation of 2.5 million rubles to Horizont Vozmozhnostey LLC by Resolution No. 253 of May 19. The document was published today on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The funds will come from the off-budget centralized investment fund of the Communications Ministry. They are being allocated on a non-repayable basis. The 2.5 million rubles are intended for the purchase of software, machinery, mechanisms, and technological equipment in order to create the material and technical base for implementing a joint educational project with Sberbank of Russia.
The Communications Ministry has been instructed to ensure oversight of the targeted use of the funds.

As clarified by the government press service, the funding concerns the “School 21” project. Horizont Vozmozhnostey LLC was established by Giprosvyaz OJSC and the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of the Hi-Tech Park.
“School 21 is an international educational project already operating in Russia and Uzbekistan. The implementation of the School 21 project will provide free and accessible IT education for citizens of Belarus regardless of their prior knowledge or the existence of diplomas,” the press service added.
