Belarus’s state sanitary and epidemiological service has reported a voluntary recall of a limited number of batches of baby food produced by Nestlé Russia.
The decision was taken on the basis of information published on the manufacturer’s official resources and those of Rospotrebnadzor. The recall concerns dry instant milk and fermented milk formulas, as well as an amino acid-based dry formula for therapeutic dietary nutrition from specific batches produced between April 15 and November 27, 2025.
In Belarus, the supplier of Nestlé Group products, ALIDI-West, informed the Health Ministry of the decision to recall part of the products.
According to Deputy Health Minister and Chief State Sanitary Doctor Sviatlana Nechai, specialists from Belarus’s sanitary and epidemiological service, together with colleagues from Rospotrebnadzor and in cooperation with the supplier, are taking measures to prevent the circulation of the specified batches in the country. She stressed that the recall applies to a limited list of batches identified following an assessment of potential risks and does not affect products from other batches or other types of baby food produced by Nestlé.
The ministry recommended taking this information into account when making purchases, including on marketplaces. Consumers can contact the supplier regarding product returns by phone at +375 17 388-00-84.
The Health Ministry also уточнил that the recall is being carried out as a precautionary measure and is part of a global voluntary recall conducted by Nestlé due to a potential risk of the presence of the toxin cereulide in raw materials (arachidonic acid) from an external supplier. Possible symptoms after consuming a product with a high content of this toxin include vomiting or diarrhea within up to six hours after consumption.
The recall concerns the following product batches:
