Belarus and Iran Hold Session of Military-Technical Cooperation Commission

Belarus and Iran are holding a session of their joint commission on military-technical cooperation. The Belarusian delegation in Tehran is led by Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry, Dmitry Pantus.

Pantus has already held talks with Iran’s Deputy Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Masoud Oraei, who co-chairs the commission from the Iranian side.

“During the talks, the parties discussed current issues in the development of military-technical cooperation and explored new areas for joint work. They emphasized the positive dynamics in implementing existing agreements. The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment to building a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership,” the committee said in a statement.

As part of the visit, the Belarusian delegation is also scheduled to tour several Iranian defense industry enterprises. The committee noted that the visit opens up additional opportunities for cooperation.
