Belarus and Algeria May Exchange Embassies and Launch Direct Flights

Belarus and Algeria are considering opening embassies. This was stated by Speaker of Algeria’s National People’s Assembly Ibrahim Boughali after a meeting with Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

According to him, he put forward “a proposal to consider the possibility of opening diplomatic missions in both countries on a reciprocal basis”. Another proposal was to establish direct air links between Belarus and Algeria.

“We are interested in implementing joint projects for the production of tractors, buses and fertilizers, which are needed by the Algerian economy and agriculture. I am confident that implementing these projects will benefit the peoples of both countries”, Ibrahim Boughali said.
