CIA Director John Ratcliffe arrived aboard the U.S. Air Force military transport aircraft that landed today at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport, CBS reports, citing sources.
The outlet described Ratcliffe’s visit as a “secret trip for meetings.”
The aircraft, bearing the registration number RCH4555, departed from Camp Springs, Maryland, where Andrews Air Force Base is located, and landed in Riga on August 23. Today, it departed Riga and arrived in Moscow at around 10 a.m. local time. Shortly afterward, a motorcade with U.S. diplomatic license plates was spotted on the streets of Moscow.
