Artificial Intelligence Elective to Appear in Belarusian Schools

In the new academic year, Belarusian schools will introduce an elective course titled “Applied Artificial Intelligence Technologies” for students in grades 8–11. The corresponding curriculum was approved by the Ministry of Education.

Students will study the principles behind modern AI services and generative models, prompting skills for text and image neural networks, the use of AI for data analysis and content creation, the use of AI tools as personal assistants in studying school subjects, as well as ethical standards and safety rules for working with artificial intelligence.

The program will be available on the National Educational Portal.
