A draft of amendments to the Tax Code has appeared in the database of draft legislation on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The Code will be supplemented with Annex No. 32-4, “Assessed Value Per Square Meter (Meter) Of A Standard Capital Structure (Building, Structure) As Of January 1, 2027.” This value will be used to calculate property tax for 2027.
For example, the assessed value per square meter in an apartment of no more than 150 sq. m. in Minsk will increase from 1,089 to 1,157 rubles. The property tax rate for individuals is 0.1%. Thus, the tax on a 50 sq. m. apartment will increase from 55.45 rubles to 57.85 rubles.
At the same time, the differentiation of the value per square meter depending on the size of the property, introduced last year, will remain in place. For example, the assessed value per square meter in apartments ranging from 150 to 250 sq. m. will be 2,313 rubles, while in apartments larger than 250 sq. m. it will be 3,470 rubles.
