Number Of Belarusians Registered With Poland’s Social Insurance System Exceeds 145,000

Poland’s Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) has published data on insured foreigners as of the end of August 2026. The number of Belarusians increased compared with July.

At the end of August, 145,107 Belarusian citizens were registered in Poland’s social insurance system. Their number increased by 693 over the previous month.

Overall, more than 1.355 million foreigners were registered with ZUS at the end of August. The total number of insured foreigners increased by 4,700 compared with July.

Ukrainian citizens remain the largest group of foreigners working in Poland. ZUS had 911,400 registered Ukrainian citizens (+2,400 compared with July). Belarusians ranked second. Indian citizens were third, with 25,700.
