Belarus’ Ministry of Education released the first results of the 2026 centralized testing campaign. More than 66,000 people took tests in eight academic subjects on June 2 and 5.
A total of 583 participants achieved the maximum score of 100 points. The largest number of top scorers was recorded in mathematics (216) and foreign languages (197, including 169 in English). In chemistry, 59 participants received the highest score. In physics, 43 students achieved 100 points this year, compared with 11 in 2025.
The highest average scores were recorded in geography (66.4), social studies (61.2), and biology (57.7). The subjects that proved most challenging this year were mathematics (46.1), History of Belarus in the Context of World History (46.2), and chemistry (48.8).
Twenty-two participants were removed from testing over the two days for violating the rules, mainly for using smartphones and cheat sheets. Another eight participants were unable to complete the test for medical reasons.
