An 18-year-old trainee was killed on an amusement ride in Mahiliou on Friday afternoon. According to information from the Investigative Committee, the young man was undergoing training for the position of ride operator.
While helping a visitor safely exit the carousel, he failed to secure the operating mechanism. At that moment, he was struck by a moving part of the ride. He sustained a severe head injury and died.

An investigative team is working at the scene. An inspection is under way, evidence is being documented, and witnesses and park administration are being questioned.
