Ukraine will increase the range of its strikes on Russian territory, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a briefing by acting head of the Security Service of Ukraine Yevhen Khmara. The report concerned a “new stage in the use of Ukrainian weapons to limit Russia’s war potential”. Zelenskyy thanked the SBU for its precision.
“The straight-line distance is more than 1,500 km. We will increase these ranges accordingly, and these are entirely justified Ukrainian responses to Russian terror. It is important that every strike reduces the capabilities of Russia’s military industry, logistics, and oil exports”, Zelenskyy said.
Earlier in the day, the Perm oil pumping station was attacked. A major fire broke out in storage tanks on the facility’s territory.
“The results are obvious to everyone. It is also obvious that Russia needs to end its war. It is time to move to diplomacy, and this signal should be heard in Moscow”, Zelenskyy concluded.
