Wildberries marketplace warehouses were again hit in overnight UAV strikes. This time, the targeted facilities were located in Russia’s Leningrad Region.
“A UAV strike caused a fire at the Wildberries warehouses in the village of Novosaratovka in the Vsevolozhsky District. Three people were injured and are in moderate condition,” said Leningrad Region Governor Aleksandr Drozdenko.
The marketplace’s press service also said that operations at its logistics centres in Shushary and Utkina Zavod have been suspended. Another company facility was struck in Simferopol, in Crimea.
Earlier, Wildberries warehouse complexes near Moscow and in Russia’s Krasnodar Region were destroyed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ strikes were not limited to the marketplace’s facilities. In Kirov, the Aviatek plant caught fire following a drone attack. The plant manufactures components for surface-to-air missile systems, cruise missiles and the aviation industry.
