The Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported the detention of a 46-year-old resident of the Minsk region. According to police, he “persistently made advances towards female passengers” in a metro carriage.
According to the police statement, the man had travelled to the capital to go shopping, consumed alcohol and then tried to meet a woman on the metro, making obscene gestures at her.
“An investigation is currently under way, and the detainee’s actions will be given a legal assessment”, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate said.
