Several former political prisoners who were released and forcibly expelled from Belarus have begun receiving draft notices from military enlistment offices. This was reported by the Human Rights Center Viasna.
They are being asked to return to Belarus and report to the military enlistment office to restore their registration for military service.
“In case of failure to appear without a valid reason, you may be held administratively liable,” the notice states.
