The United States is lifting sanctions on Belinvestbank, the Development Bank of Belarus, and the Ministry of Finance, US President’s Special Envoy John Coale said after meeting with Alyaksandr Lukashenka in Minsk.
The Belarusian Potash Company and Belaruskali have also been removed from all sanctions lists.
“We have learned to do this faster. Before visiting Minsk, we held extensive talks with the US Treasury and other American agencies involved in the implementation of sanctions. I assure you that this time everything will be much faster,” Coale said.
