To continue improving relations between the United States and Belarus, Alyaksandr Lukashenka must stop launching balloons toward Lithuania and return Lithuanian trucks. An anonymous US official told TASS this.
“For further progress in US-Belarus relations, positive steps are required to stop the dispatch of smuggling balloons from Belarus that affect Lithuania’s airspace, as well as to resolve the issue of Lithuanian trucks that are stuck,” the official said.
It should be noted that US President’s special envoy John Coale said earlier today that he discussed “issues of regional security and migration in Vilnius with Gitanas Nausėda and Inga Ruginienė.” These topics were also raised during talks with Lukashenka in Minsk.
