A bot with administrator rights has begun appearing in chats of prisoners’ relatives that were designated an “extremist formation” yesterday.
After each message, the bot “Get My Id Bot|Get MyId” posts messages allegedly showing the user’s ID. The bot was spotted in the “Penal Colony No. 8 Orsha Belarus” chat and in two other chats. Before its appearance, a new user was added to the chats, and that user launched the bot, MAYDAY TEAM reported.
At this point, the chat for Shklou Penal Colony No. 17 and the chat for Orsha Penal Colony No. 8 have been almost entirely deleted. It also became known this morning that the chat for Women’s Penal Colony No. 4 on Viber had been deleted.
It should be recalled that the KGB designated as an “extremist formation” 10 Telegram chats, nine Viber chats and three VKontakte communities in which relatives of prisoners communicated.
