Unified Lesson “Belarusian Woman – A Symbol of Strength and Inspiration” to Be Held in Belarusian Schools

The Ministry of Education will hold a lesson entitled “Belarusian Woman – A Symbol of Strength and Inspiration” in all schools on 5 March. The event will be dedicated to Women’s Day.

“Throughout history, Belarusian women have played a key role in the development of society: they have raised generations with traditional values of honour, kindness and resilience, served as a moral compass, and passed on wisdom and spiritual strength through the centuries,” the ministry said.

Today, according to the education authorities, they successfully combine family care and child-rearing with work and public activity. The ministry has also published teaching materials for the lesson.

During the lesson, students are to be guided toward understanding the contribution of Belarusian women to various spheres of life. They are also expected to learn that motherhood, raising children and caring for the family are the most important roles of women in society.

In preparing the lesson, it is proposed to use materials from the website of the Administration of Aliaksandr Lukashenka on the Year of the Belarusian Woman, a reprint of an interview with Natallia Kachanava published in the newspaper “SB. Belarus Segodnya” and posted on the National Legal Internet Portal, as well as the teaching aid for general secondary education institutions “I Am a Citizen of the Republic of Belarus.”
