Ukraine’s Defense Ministry: “It Is Ozon’s Turn”

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said it had begun systematic attacks on logistics facilities belonging to Russian company Ozon. The ministry recalled that Ukrainian units had previously struck 15 of Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs.

“The Defense Forces have opened the account of destroyed logistics hubs belonging to Russian company Ozon. Systematic strikes on storage centers for dual-use goods are disrupting the enemy’s logistics and having a negative impact on Russia’s economy as a whole. After Ukrainian units struck 15 of Wildberries’ largest logistics hubs, it is now Ozon’s turn. Our sanctions with a long-term effect are working — both spectacularly and effectively”, the ministry said.

It should be recalled that on the night of Aug. 22, an Ozon logistics complex in Chapayevsk, Samara region, was damaged in a drone attack. A fire broke out at the warehouse. The company reported casualties and the evacuation of more than 500 employees. Operations at the facility have been suspended indefinitely.
