On the afternoon of Aug. 22, rescuers received a report of a fire at a shopping center on Chkalava Street in Vitsyebsk. It was found that a ceiling light fixture had caught fire in one of the retail pavilions. Staff extinguished the fire themselves using a fire extinguisher.
No one was injured in the incident. Visitors and employees were not evacuated, the Emergencies Ministry’s press service reported.
