On October 23, Ukraine and Russia exchanged the bodies of those killed.
“Ukraine has received 1,000 bodies that, according to the Russian side, belong to Ukrainian servicemen,” the Ukrainian Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War said.
Ukraine will soon conduct examinations to identify the repatriated bodies.
Ukraine handed over 31 bodies to Russia, RBC reported.
