The first session of the newly elected Coordination Council will take place today at 7:00 p.m. Minsk time. From that moment, the new Council will officially assume its powers.
Two candidates have been nominated for the position of speaker: Artsiom Brukhan (nominated by the Latushka Coalition and the For Freedom movement) and Andrei Kolas (nominated by the Your Voice faction).
Yury Hubarevich (Latushka Coalition and the For Freedom movement) has been elected chair of the first session, while Yauhen Karaulau (Nastup) will serve as secretary.
The session will be streamed live on the Coordination Council’s official YouTube channel.
