A road accident involving five vehicles occurred this morning on the Minsk Ring Road.
According to the Interior Ministry press service, a 38-year-old truck driver at around the 10 km mark failed to take road conditions into account when choosing speed and lost control of the vehicle.
The truck collided with a Nissan, which was pushed into an Opel travelling in the same direction. The MAZ truck then continued moving and crashed into a route minibus, which in turn collided with a Geely.
“Six passengers of the minibus, as well as a 25-year-old passenger of the Geely, were taken to medical facilities.
Traffic police officers and an investigative task force are working at the scene. The causes of the incident are being established,” the Interior Ministry added.
