The Viva, Rovar 2026 cycling festival will take place in Minsk on May 30. The cycling route will run from the Sports Palace along Pieramozhcau Avenue to Minsk Arena and back. The “Summer Mood” festival and a concert near the Sports Palace are also planned.
On Saturday, traffic on Pieramozhcau Avenue will be temporarily restricted from Lenin Street to Melnikaitė Street approximately from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and from Melnikaitė Street to Narachanskaja Street from 10:50 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. The restrictions will also apply to car-sharing vehicles.
Bus routes No. 1, 11, 29, 44, 46, 69, 73, 76E, 91, 119C, 133, 136 and 163, as well as trolleybus routes No. 10 and 77, will be temporarily rerouted from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Detailed route maps have been published on the Minsktrans website.
Access to the cycling festival will be organised through security checkpoints. Prohibited items may be left in storage facilities at 2 Pieramozhcau Avenue and 4 Pieramozhcau Avenue. Police have been placed on heightened alert, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Directorate of Internal Affairs said.
