Traffic Restricted on Independence Avenue Bridge Over the Svislach in Minsk

Traffic restrictions came into effect in Minsk on July 6 for all vehicles except public transport on the section of Independence Avenue between Victory Square and Yanka Kupala Street.

Repair work has begun on the bridge over the Svislach River. The Minsk traffic police are advising drivers to bypass the closed section using the city’s first and second ring roads, as well as adjacent streets.

Traffic on this section of Independence Avenue will remain restricted through August 30.
